A New Nation | Episode 8

from Mission History · host Black Barrel Media

As the summer of 1781 fades, the British high command chooses to establish a supply base at Yorktown, Virginia. With the main force of the British southern army in Virginia, the American southern army reestablishes control of nearly all of South Carolina and Georgia. At the same time, American Commander-In-Chief George Washington, and his French allies, recognize an opportunity. They rush the American main army to Virginia in a winner-take-all gamble to win the war. The Americans emerge victorious after the siege of Yorktown, and they turn the dream of a new nation into a reality. ~~~ Mission History is a collaboration of Black Barrel Media and QCODE.
