Oh, hello! Today I'm going up to the top of Taipei 101! Taipei 101 is famous for being one of the tallest buildings in the world, so the view up here is awesome! 台北101很高,風景也很漂亮! What other famous buildings have you heard of? 你還知道哪些有名的建築物? What about the Eiffel Tower in France? 法國的艾菲爾鐵塔? Or the Pyramids in Egypt? 埃及的金字塔? Or what about the Taj Mahal in India? 那印度的泰姬瑪哈陵呢? The Taj Mahal was built almost 400 years ago when a heartbroken emperor decided to build it for his wife after she died. 400年前,一位印度皇帝因為太太死了很難過,所以蓋了泰姬瑪哈陵。 It took a lot of work and time to complete. The whole thing took 22 years and thousands of workers to build. 幾千個人花了22年才蓋好。 Now the Taj Mahal is a symbol of love. This gave another man the idea to build another Taj Mahal for his wife! 一位印度人也想蓋一座泰姬瑪哈給他的太太! This one's for him and his wife to live in though! 不過這是要給他自己跟愛妻共同居住的。 The real Taj Mahal is in a city called Agra. The new Taj Mahal is in a place called Madhya Pradesh. It's not as big as the real one but it's still pretty special! 雖然比較小但還是很特別! Well, I'm going to enjoy the view here on Taipei 101 some more.
