A NEW YEAR ANCHORED IN FAITH

Scripture: “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” — Hebrews 6:19 Devotional Message: As a new year unfolds, uncertainties may rise, plans may shift, and challenges may appear unannounced. Yet, faith anchors us when life feels unstable. An anchor does not remove the storm; it holds the ship steady through it. In the same way, faith in God does not eliminate trials, but it keeps our hearts grounded in His promises. To be anchored in faith is to trust God beyond what you see, feel, or understand. It is choosing His Word as your foundation and His presence as your confidence. When fear whispers and doubt knocks, faith reminds you that God is faithful, unchanging, and ever-present. This year, let your decisions, expectations, and hopes be rooted in Him. A year anchored in faith will not drift into despair but will stand firm in purpose and peace. Today, Ask Yourself: What areas of my life need to be firmly anchored in faith as I step into this new year? Prayer: Father, as I enter this new year, I anchor my soul in You.
