A New York Adventure - A young Irish couple get married and emigrate in 1957 for six years

A young couple got married and had their wedding reception at the Imperial Hotel in Cork and travelled onto Shannon Airport to wave goodbye to their families and emigrate to New York. They left New York, six years later on Valentines Day, 1963 on a ship to return home, after a fantastic adventure in the "City that never sleeps". Working and living in New York, drafted into the American Army, the music of Paul Anka, Andy Williams, Johnny Mathis and the Rat Pack, Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, playing soccer with the Newark Portuguese and a new young President called John F.Kennedy.
