On Day 11 of our 31 Days of Halloween, I’m flying solo with Wes Craven’s A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). This is the only one in the whole series that I find even halfway scary—until the infamous ending, when the inflatable mom gets yanked through the front door window and all the terror goes right out with her.
