'A Not-So-Family Man' & 'The Nice Guy Act' & Much More

from Judge Mathis Podcast · host Telepictures

First, The plaintiff started dating the defendant after they met on social media. The plaintiff says she knew the defendant had a baby on the way and was living with the baby’s mother, but she didn’t know they were sharing a room. The plaintiff alleges she paid for a night out, and the defendant agreed to pay his portion, but he never did, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant insists he was never in a committed relationship with the plaintiff, and he denies owing her anything. Then, The plaintiff hired the defendant to do some work around her home, and she says he seemed like a sweet guy. However, the plaintiff soon discovered the defendant was a con man with a criminal record. The plaintiff claims she paid the defendant to do a pressure washing job, but he didn’t complete the work, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant says the plaintiff hit on him in front of his partner, and he believes the plaintiff is suing for more than he owes. Plus, The plaintiff was married to the defendant and things turned ugly when he was shot. He alleges while he was recovering, his ex-wife made fun of him, and that led him to cheat. After the divorce, the plaintiff says he was supposed to get a couch, but it was missing, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant says the plaintiff blamed her for getting shot, and she’s countersuing for spousal support and pain and suffering.
