A One Track Life - Audio

from Chiangmai Christian Fellowship · host Tim Dunham

Big Idea - Why does following Jesus, being a Disciple, require such an extreme, all-out commitment? Why can't we just live normal lives and tack Jesus on as needed or when convenient? Why does following Christ have to be so extreme? Jesus does call us to an extreme, all-out commitment to Him, but there are a number of reasons why this actually makes great sense. 1) He offers an eternal treasure - a treasure that cannot ever be lost or wear out, 2) He gives light to live by, 3) He is a Master who takes great care of His servants - Because we are precious and of great value to Him, and because He is more than able to take care of what He loves, and 4) Worrying about the future doesn't actually have any real benefit, but trusting God day by day is the only thing that does work!
