A paper plane
from Daily Picture · host Stephanie Hawkins
Today I saw a paper plane which has brought to mind the Wright brothers who invented the first flying aircraft over 100 years ago. Apparently their research and approach differed significantly from other experimenters of flying machines of that time. The Wright brothers focused on developing a reliable method of pilot control as opposed to an emphasis on powerful engines. A paper plane relies entirely on our efforts. In contrast God wants us to rely on His 'pilot control' in our lives rather than just our own efforts. "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). There are many Bible verses reminding us that God has great power and He wants us to connect to Him and receive strength from Him.
