In fact, in the New Testament this became the main way to address fellow Christ followers. Viewing one another primarily through the lens of siblings offers us a path forward into healthy relationship. In our hyper-sexualized culture, we so desperately need an alternative path forward out of systems of lust. Jesus offers us this path.
