This week on a Pawdcast we are so excited to bring to you our second episode of ask Dr. Lisa Newell of the Malibu Coast Animal Hospital. We discuss all things energy, and how after so many years of on-the-job training, Dr. Lisa has learned to read a dog’s temperament upon walking into the room. We talk about the devastating situations in our Los Angeles’s shelters and how disease and infection is at an all time high, leading to potential adopters walking away and more animals not making it out. She tells us how she’s helping the unhoused youth of Los Angeles and their pets by volunteering her veterinary services at My Friend’s Place, an organization that Assists and inspires homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives.
