Lisa Purdy is a medical laboratory technologist and works at the University of Alberta as an Associate Professor and Director of the BSc in the medical laboratory science program. Chaska Vilchez is a recent graduate of the program and is working in Microbiology. The two of them join the fellas to give them a little peek behind the medical curtain to understand how important clinical laboratories are in aiding physicians in the diagnosis, prognosis and monitoring of diseases.
