KPW - Kingdom Praying Women Conference | August 25, 2026 You have been called into far more than a Christianity of forgiveness, personal comfort, religious activity, answered needs, or escape from judgment; through Christ you have been brought into a new priesthood after the order of Melchizedek and given the power of an endless life—the very life of God—which makes you a citizen of the age to come and equips you to participate in God’s purpose for the earth. God desires a willing people in the day of His power, vessels through whom His will can move from individual lives into families, communities, cities, and nations; yet this requires surrender, because the greatest hindrances are often idols hidden in the heart—ambition, pleasure, money, career, marriage, children, reputation, family identity, pain, trauma, lack, personal opinions, quarrels, strife, bitterness, wounded pride, ingrained character traits, and even the insistence on living according to your own beliefs rather than the way of the Lord. Real Christianity therefore involves sacrifice, self-denial, training, discipline, and learning to put away whatever competes with God, not because earthly responsibilities are evil, but because nothing should possess the place in your heart that belongs to Him. Ministry itself is not entertainment, visibility, a platform, emotional excitement, or the gathering of crowds; it exists to establish the will of God, equip people for spiritual battle, form Christ within them, and raise burden bearers who can hear what heaven is saying and respond. This requires perpetual spiritual awareness: like Jael and Abigail, learn to understand what is happening around you, recognize the spiritual significance of circumstances, remain alert to God’s movements, and respond with wisdom rather than panic; do not live merely for yourself, your spouse, your children, your work, and your comfort while the purposes of God and the suffering of others remain outside your concern. Guard your heart and mind with the Word, study Scripture not merely to preach or impress others but to know God, bear His nature, recognize His voice, and become inwardly transformed. Learn to hear His quiet invitations to come aside, remain conscious of Him even in ordinary activities, and cultivate such fellowship that carrying His burdens becomes a way of life rather than an occasional spiritual experience. Understand also that following Christ does not remove battle; victory is promised, but warfare remains part of life on earth, which is why believers must be trained rather than permanently dependent on others to fight for them. Parents should raise children who know how to stand in faith, ministers should equip people for the day of battle, and believers should learn to wield the Word as the shield of faith rather than merely saying they believe God. At times this training will require costly obedience—fasting, prayer, loss of sleep, prolonged waiting, disciplined attention, and other sacrifices directed by God—because some spiritual assignments cannot be carried by an undisciplined life. Yet warfare must always begin from Christ’s finished victory: principalities and powers have been defeated, Christ has disarmed the enemy, and your identity must be rooted in what He accomplished rather than in fear of darkness. The answer is not terror but justification through Christ. Be quick to acknowledge wrong, repent, confess sin, apologize where necessary, walk peaceably with people, and apply the blood of Jesus in faith, because what has been confessed and cleansed cannot rightly continue to stand as a weapon of condemnation. Prayer itself must recover its sacredness: it is not primarily performance, duration, noise, bodily movement, public display, or religious reputation, but genuinely standing before God with your heart, mind, attention, and spirit fixed on Him. Learn to talk to God rather than kneeling physically while your mind converses with worries, offenses, business, arguments, and idols; approach Him one matter at a time, remain until your heart is truly before Him, pray with understanding and in the Spirit, and learn how to receive from Him. Emotional expression is not wrong—there are burdens that will make you weep, groan, or travail—but let those emotions arise from communion with God rather than from untreated wounds and personal vengeance. Make yourself available, therefore, not merely to receive God’s goodness but to become useful to Him; let Christ be formed in your character, let His Word govern your mind, let His blood silence condemnation, let His presence shape your prayers, let His burdens enlarge your heart beyond yourself, and let the power of His endless life make you a sober, willing, disciplined, spiritually awake priest who can stand in the gap, bear the purposes of heaven, overcome the adversary, bless others, and help bring the will of God into manifestation on the earth.
