Gabby Kuehn, founder of PAAW (Pets Are Always Welcome House) joins Anna to discuss the landmark ’second reading’ of Jasmine’s Law, which due to Covid restrictions took place as a parliamentary webinar. Gabby joined Anna as one of the expert speakers at the event, which wasn’t recorded in line with government rules. Taking this opportunity to reflect on the event and summarise what happened, and who said what, the conversation underlines the resounding view: that NO Pet clauses are indeed unfair, outdated and discriminatory. And at odds with socio-economic trends where pets are considered as family in an age of the pandemic that will see more of us working from home, benefitting from the companionship and lifeline that is a dog. And we mustn’t exclude cats!
