No Man’s Sky was released in in the middle part of 2016 to largely negative reviews due to the game being overhyped and rushed to release. That is a typical issue with Kickstarter and other crowdfunded projects. However, since the release the developers have been consistently releasing new content while offering new and different ways to play.
