A Pod of Their Own, Episode 218: Meaningful Podcasts in October

Welcome back to A Pod of Their Own, an all-women led Home Run Applesauce podcast where we talk all things Mets, social justice issues in baseball, and normalize female voices in the sports podcasting space.  This week, we begin by discussing all of the Mets baseball that’s happened since we last recorded after last Monday’s doubleheader against the Braves, which now feels like a decade ago. We recap the Wild Card Series - including Pete Alonso’s historic home run - and the first two games of the NLDS. We also talk about Kodai Senga’s return and the possibility of getting Jeff McNeil back as well.
