A Powerful Presentation of Christ // John 3:30-36

Our text this morning covers a brief time period when the ministry of John the Baptist overlaps that of Jesus. During this time, John’s disciples become upset that more people are going to Jesus than John. John responds to his disciples with extraordinary humility--Jesus must increase while he must decrease. And in verses 31-36, John proclaims a powerful presentation of Christ to show why He must increase. In this message we consider this gospel presentation for our own growth and to be equipped to share this saving truth with others.
