A Prayer for an Increase in Wisdom

Welcome to the June Prayer of Jabez Challenge. Let’s PrayHeavenly Father,Just as Jabez cried out to You, I come today with a sincere heart and bold faith, asking: Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain. And God granted what he requested. Lord, I ask specifically for the gift of wisdom—divine insight, clarity, and understanding that comes from You.Your Word says that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask, and You give generously without finding fault. So I ask, believing that You will fill me with the wisdom I need for every decision, every challenge, and every season I face.Enlarge my territory, Lord—not just in influence, but in understanding. Increase my capacity to see things the way You see them. Help me to discern what is good, right, and pleasing to You. Let my thoughts be guided by truth and my words seasoned with grace.Let Your hand be with me. Direct my path and teach me to listen to Your voice above all others. Help me to respond with patience, to act with prudence, and to lead with integrity. May wisdom guard my steps, preserve my peace, and strengthen my relationships.Keep me from harm and from making foolish or impulsive choices. Deliver me from the traps of pride, confusion, and fear. Let wisdom be a light to my path and a shield to my soul.I receive Your wisdom today, Lord—not for my glory, but so I may walk in Your ways and your will and fulfill the purpose You’ve placed in my life.In Jesus’ name,Amen.
