A Prayer of Protection

A prayer of protection Heavenly Father I come to you with a heart full of trust knowing You are my refuge and strength You are my shield my fortress and the one in whom I place my hope Wrap me in Your arms today and let Your presence be my covering I ask that You place a hedge of protection around me around my mind my heart my body and my spirit Guard me from harm from danger seen and unseen Protect me from every attack of the enemy every snare and every trap Lord let Your angels encamp around me standing watch at every door every path every decision May no weapon formed against me prosper and may every tongue that rises in judgment be silenced I declare that I dwell in the secret place of the Most High and under the shadow of the Almighty I will rest You are my refuge and my fortress my God in whom I trust No evil shall befall me nor shall any plague come near my home Surround my family my friends and all that I hold dear Cover us in the blood of Jesus our banner our shield our victory Let Your peace which passes all understanding guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus Thank you Lord for going before me and being my rear guard Thank you for never leaving or forsaking me I rest in Your promises and walk forward without fear knowing that You are always with me In Jesus' powerful name I pray Amen
