A Psychic Life Unfiltered: How Psychic Mediums Really Receive Messages

In this third episode, Melanie is joined again by Jocelyn and Sarah for a candid and grounded conversation about the real mechanics of psychic and mediumship work — and how different intuitive gifts actually function. Not all psychic mediums work the same way — and that’s exactly the point. In this episode, we explore: • The differences between clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, and claircognizance • How spirit communicates through images, sound, emotion, and “just knowing” • What it really means to scan and read the aura • How energetic frequencies affect communication with spirit • The distinction between mediumship and ghost hunting • Why intention matters when connecting with the spirit realm • How Reiki and energy work can influence intuitive perception Sarah shares how clairvoyance appears in her mind’s eye and how she reads energetic patterns within the aura. Jocelyn explains how clairaudience and musical messages from spirit form a symbolic language over time. Melanie dives into clairsentience, the feeling frequency of spirit presence, and the importance of tuning into higher vibrational communication. We also openly discuss misconceptions about ghost hunting, Ouija boards, earthbound spirits, and why mediumship is not the same as paranormal investigation. This episode offers a grounded, educational, and experiential look at how intuitive abilities develop, how different psychics receive information differently, and why finding the right reader for you matters. If you’ve ever wondered how psychic mediums actually receive messages — this is the unfiltered conversation.
