A Quebec amateur astronomer discovered a 390-million-year-old meteorite impact crater

Imagine scrolling through Google Maps while planning a camping trip, and accidentally discovering a 390-million-year-old meteorite crater. That's exactly what happened to a Quebec amateur astronomer, and after a scientific expedition confirmed his hunch, Canada now has a brand-new officially recognized impact crater.
