She completed a PhD in Art History at the University of Auckland. She has published on Stuart queens and is the editor of Floral Culture and the Tudor and Stuart Court (Amsterdam University Press). Her new project is titled ‘Observing, Consuming, Engaging, Appropriating Nature (OCEAN): Queens Consorts and Ecologies of Knowledge in Seventeenth-Century Britain.'
