from Not As Crazy As You Think Podcast

Show Notes:A reading from my memoir, Not As Crazy As You ThinkChapter 4:      The Taj MahalAlong the 7-hour bus ride to the Taj Mahal, Aneesa from South Africa becomes my traveling companion, while a Bollywood-wannabe tour guide shares every detail about the most beautiful monument of love yet to stand on the face of this earth. The triumphant Taj Mahal reveals to me the kind of breathtaking beauty I never knew existed. But after our too-short tour, when I arrive back to the Nayars’ address, I discover I am locked out of the house. Sumit’s sister, Ayida, hears my knock and lets me in. I am shocked out of the Taj’s mystical spell by morning when Sumit’s mother, who had enough of my “arrogance,” aggressively accosts me, demanding I leave their home. With the morning’s arrival, awful abdominal pains had begun to emerge. I wearily gather my things and venture back to the Grand Western Regionale Hotel to find Aneesa for guidance.#podcast #travelmemoir #tajmahal #india #bipolardisorder #mentalillness #mentalhealth #psychiatryisnotscience #bipolarartistPlease visit my website at: http://www.notascrazyasyouthink.com/Don't forget to subscribe to the Not As Crazy As You Think YouTube channel @SicilianoJenConnect:Instagram: @jengaita LinkedIn: @jensicilianoTwitter: @jsicilianoSend us Fan MailSupport the show
