A Reason To Live

from Working from Home · host Justin R. Lester

Welcome to Made for Mondays A Reason to Live Death was more than a thought, it was a wish. I attempted suicide in 2014 for the second time. The first was for attention in 2012. The second was to die. In 2014, I was a second-year master's student at a very rough time in my life. Life was a mess. One Night I decided to end my misery by slitting my wrists. I was desperate. I just wanted someone to see me, hear me, care for me, and love me. I hated everything about me. I felt I had no reason to live. I did it. And then I woke up! Questions to Consider: How Are you? What Brings you Joy? What are you expecting God to share with you this week? Scriptures Psalm 37:23 Psalm 35:1 Psalm 91, Psalm 38:5 See you Next Monday! www.jrlester.com Link’s Mentioned in Today’s Podcast: - Purchase Brown Dad Brown Boy Brown Basketball - https://amzn.to/3cEArS1 - Purchase Necessary Endings! - https://amzn.to/37T0TEa - Purchase Let’s Play Church - https://amzn.to/3QcEQgP Follow Justin online @Twitter/Instagram - @Mr_jlester Give yourself a license to live!
