A retirement card for former Allegheny County Jail Warden Orlando Harper produces outrage...Incumbent Congresswoman Summer Lee has a challenger...and a new shopping center is coming to Butler County

A hateful retirement card for former Allegheny County Jail Warden Orlando Harper is producing outrage. County Council member Bethany Hallam recently posted images of the card on social media. One of the people who signed it wrote they hoped Harper gets "a painful, terminal illness." On the Big K Morning Show, Hallam defended the messages and the people who sent them: Hallam, a member of the county's Jail Oversight Board, was a harshly vocal critic of the warden and the facility alleging "horrible things" that happened there. 27 inmates died at the jail in five years but an independent report found no significant trends or common factors leading to the deaths.
