A River, Etc.

Today the gang gets off track, but always seems to return to talking about bodies of running water. Whether it’s Tippy River Adventures, a movie about a terrible rafting trip, River cleaning and habitat conservation, and a movie about the fly-fishing brothers. Special features: Aliens, and trading soap for radioactive material. In the movie “A River Runs Through It,” based on the book by Norman Maclean: The Maclean brothers, Paul (Brad Pitt) and Norman (Craig Sheffer), live a relatively idyllic life in rural Montana, spending much of their time fly fishing. They spend long periods of time apart, but always connect again and go fly fishing. They spend their time together recounting stories from over the time they spent separated. Like the FC’s say: “It’s like A Field of Dreams, but with fishing.”
