A rugby goal post

Today, in my spiritual imagination, I saw the goal posts on a rugby pitch, which I casually call an H bar. With the rugby ball over the line called "a try" and then a kick of the ball over the goal post bar called "a conversion", I see a correlation with Christianity. When we start off trying to investigate Christianity through meeting Christians, reading the Word and calling out to Jesus, there then comes a point when we need to decide to convert. At that point we experience for ourselves what it is to be in fellowship with Jesus. He says to everyone: "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in ..." (Revelations 3:20).
