A SEASON OF DIVINE ENCOUNTERS

Scripture: “Then Jacob said, ‘Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.’” – Genesis 28:16 Devotional Message: There are seasons when God draws unusually close, opening our eyes to His presence in fresh and powerful ways. A season of divine encounters is not always marked by noise or spectacle; often, it unfolds in quiet moments of surrender, prayer, and obedience. Like Jacob at Bethel, we may suddenly realize that God has been with us all along, working behind the scenes and preparing our hearts for revelation. Divine encounters realign our perspective. They remind us that God is not distant but deeply involved in our journey. In these moments, fear turns into reverence, confusion gives way to clarity, and weakness is met with divine strength. God uses encounters to awaken purpose, confirm promises, and ignite faith for the next phase of our lives. When God encounters you, He marks the place as holy—not because the ground changed, but because you did. Your heart becomes more sensitive to His voice, and your steps become ordered by His will. Embrace this season with expectation, for one genuine encounter with God can change the direction of a lifetime. Today, Ask Yourself: Am I creating space in my daily life to recognize and respond to God’s presence? Prayer: Father, open my eyes to recognize Your presence in this season.
