A season with promise ends with familiar disappointment---Iowa crushes Nebraska, 40-16, to end the Huskers’ season at 7-5 and 10 losses in the last 11 games to the Hawkeyes

-The first half was fairly entertaining, with Iowa taking a 24-16 lead into the break---then Nebraska failed in all 3 facets of the game with turnovers on special teams and offense, and a leaky defense was too much to overcome -For a fanbase who likes to mock the offense of Iowa, 40 points given up at home is another kick in the pants. But---one positive---Emmett Johnson was once again sensational, with 29 carries for 217 yards and a TD. But that’s about where the positives end.
