A Secret to Experiencing Joy

A really simple avenue for this is through *Appreciation*. Let’s experience #WorldJoy together right now by actively creating it in your world right now. The World Joy movement hereby declares the month of August as *Appreciation August*!!!! We’re about application over information, so let me share how you can participate in Appreciation August. 1) Let a different person each day know how much you appreciate them. 2) It should take you no less than one minute to express your sentiments of appreciation ABOUT THEM. Give them the gift of finding out more about themselves by sharing why you appreciate them as a person in your life - you can give examples to support afterwards. This is likely going to be the hardest part for people - both to give AND to receive. 3) share your appreciation you way- with a gift, a song, a letter, a drawing, a video, an act of service, an all-expense paid trip to a destination of their choice - I’m not going to limit you! Just make sure you actually convey what it is about them that you appreciate.
