A Sermon on Hebrews 11:29-31 "Danger & Hospitality by Faith"

This week we learn about Israel and Rahab from Hebrews 11:29-31. The generation that leaves Egypt is trapped between the mountains, an army, and the Sea. God opens an unexpected way through the Sea. We overcome adversity by faith. The generation that enters the Promised Land unconventionally defeats Jericho. We overcome the world by faith. Rahab rejects her allegiance to Jericho and chooses allegiance to God. We overcome judgment by faith.
