Judges 8:22-35 "Missed Opportunities"After Gideon comes home victorious, Israel asks him to be their king. His answer is correct: "The Lord will rule over you." However, Gideon goes and acts like a king. He establishes a capital city and gathers a royal treasury. He goes so far as to name his son "My Father Is King."In this, Gideon misses several opportunities: He fails to walk with INTEGRITY, to focus on PARENTING according to a proper legacy, and to WORSHIP God.
