A Sermon to Die For

Stephen faces a council that rejects Jesus and answers by tracing God's work through Israel's history. God reveals Himself in glory, yet sinful people repeatedly resist Him and reject the deliverers He sends. Scripture is one story of rescue. That saving line reaches Jesus, the rejected Messiah, and becomes personal when Stephen sees Him standing in heaven and dies asking forgiveness for his killers.
