“Abortion presents a profound moral question.” So said the Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which on Friday, June 24 explicitly overruled earlier Court decisions in Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. And yet, the Court chose not to answer that question.
