A Shenandoah County Bucket List

from The Valley Today · host Janet Michael

We recorded today's Tourism Tuesday conversation with Kary Haun from Shenandoah County Tourism at Flour & Water - 124 S. Main Street, Woodstock - to create a bucket list of things to do in Shenandoah County this year. We covered things and places from the ground (Fort Valley Ranch & Secret Passage Ranch) to the air (hot air balloon rides & SkyDive Shenandoah) and a little of everything in between. We talked about hiking Big Schloss and exploring Seven Bends State Park. Kary also gave us lots of information about the Shenandoah Caverns family of attractions that include American Celebration on Parade & the Yellow Barn which are available for events and weddings. Before we wrapped up our conversation, Kary told us of their plans to repurpose the "Five Things Friday" into mini-itineraries for their website and social media.
