The goal of the Gospel is making disciplines, v. 21Three things they did as they ministered to the disciples…   a) strengthening the souls of the disciplesb) encouraging them to continue in the faith                                               “Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.”                -Jude 3-4c) saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God3. Leadership in the church is plural, v. 23Paul established three things in every church he started...a) gave doctrinal instructionb) established spiritual authority- eldersc) pointed them to the faithfulness of God4. Do you think of Christianity in terms of making a decision or being a disciple?4. Do you feel comfortable contending for the faith when necessary? 5.
