A Sound of Thunder and Criticism (Discovery S2E06)
from Star Trek Resignation · host Kickers of Elves
Saru goes home and isn't putting up with any bs. But we are. Benny Scheckner (instagram.com/chickenbonesontheground) joins Wade, Glen Hall and Sean Perrotta to say nice things about Star Trek Discovery. What IS a companion, really? Well this companion did some "research," has a gimmick to steal from another podcast, and things to say about season 2 episode six of various Star Treks, (sorry Star Trek Wars, he didn't know). What has stayed the same throughout Star Trek, and what has changed? But on to Discovery! Right off the bat, we got opinions about who the Red Angel is. Glen gives one hell of a synopsis. From the opening voiceover to the background and supporting characters: What all works about this episode? The first successful misdirect halfway through the second season of the show! Is Michael great as a supporting character? Xenoanthropoligist? You mean "Away Mission Specialist"? Sounds great! All these Red Angel predictions… would it be more interesting to put some money down? Sean has some unorthodox Star Wars opinions. So JJ trek… And how bout the cinematography? Wade… gives hesitant praise to Alex Kurtzman? What is going on? How bout we just give praise to the episode writers instead. But enough Star Trek. Let's talk The L Word. Got opinions? Let us hear them!
