They were intimate with God through the Word. “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” — Acts 2:42 The Holy Spirit’s presence leads to an obsession with the Holy Spirit’s book. They were intimate with God through prayer. “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” — Acts 2:42 “Pray without ceasing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Be constant in prayer, always…” — Romans 12:12 2. We GROW together as a family. 3. They were imparting the gospel to the world. We must show and tell the world who Jesus is.
