For this holiday weekend, Jay provides a reminder for the consistency of love. This is a direct battle against apathy and numbness. We need to be talking about the fight for humanity and the conflict that we are constantly faced with. It’s devastating to have people be disappointed with us but we can’t give up!It can be productive and rooted in love. There’s a great section reviewing how Tillich describes indoctrination as well. If we recognize how we might have been manipulated, we can have a better chance of freeing ourselves to be able to choose love.
