A Star Is Born

This week, The Plotaholics discuss the 2018 modern day classic, 'A Star Is Born'--the fourth version of this film. It kind of feels insulting to call it a remake. This version, as we all know, stars Bradley Cooper as Jackson Maine, a country rocker and how a chance meeting he finds the woman of his dreams in Ally, a singer/songwriter who takes an instant level of affection for him. Things come to a head when Jackson's progressive hearing loss and substance abuse disrupts Ally's rise to stardom. Co-starring Sam Elliott, Dave Chappell, Eddie Griffin, and Andrew Dice Clay.Not much can really be said.
