A State of Sadness One Mother's Fight to Keep Her Daughter Out of the System

Stacey in her own words: I am the author of State of Sadness (SOS) which I wrote regarding my fight for one of my foster daughter’s and to reveal what happened behind the closed doors of the corrupt and broken child welfare system. I decided to write and publish this book for awareness and to be a voice for all those who are threatened into silence. I am currently a Marriage and Family Therapist in Private Practice and have been doing this for several years now. I am an adoptive mom to 2 who are young women now. Previously was a foster mom and social worker prior to becoming a foster mom. Yes, I said it I was a social worker.
