In this 2nd of a 3-part series, Penney Zimmerman begins with that terrible phone call no one ever wants to get -- "It's cancer."--breast cancer. Years later, lung cancer raised its ugly head-- leaving her with the removal of 2/3 of one lung and another long road to recovery. After the shock came a long journey which included a mastectomy, experimental treatments with 4 kind of chemotherapy over a 2 year period, Legionnaires' disease (a severe form of pneumonia), serious infection, loss of a successful job due to chemo effects, and a near death experience. Miraculously, the outcome has left her stronger in her faith than ever before. This is a powerful story of hope, healing and family and friends who became, "Penney's angels".
