No one likes construction signs. They mean one thing: waiting. Sometimes traffic slows to a crawl and it seems like there will never be an end to it. But eventually, once the road work is complete, what you have is something better, something beautiful. A little inconvenience for a short time leads to a much better situation. The same is true for the Christian life. As Christians we strive for holiness, knowing that we do not earn our place before God. It is a precious gift from Him. We are all works under construction, and we know that one day our holiness will be complete in His presence. Preached on Sunday, January 7, 2024m by Rev. Karen CrawfordPassage: Philippians 1:1-11
