The Supreme Court heard oral arguments on Thursday in a challenge to President Trump’s effort to end birthright citizenship. This judicial battle began brewing on the President’s first day back in office, when he signed an executive order to eliminate birthright citizenship for children born in the U.S. to parents not in the country legally.
