A Survivor Shares Her Story Of Victory After She Was Emancipated At The Age Of Just 15 - With Tiffany Barnes

Hello listeners and welcome back to the Victim 2 Victor podcast and in todays episode I have Tiffany Barnes on my show. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Tiffany was emancipated at the age of just 15 – the second case in the state of Utah for a child of age 15 to become legally emancipated from their parents. She then struggled with ongoing abuse which traumatised her in her later years. It took just one decision for her to turn her life around. She worked 3 jobs to support herself and her education to lead her to where she is today, a successful and ambitious entrepreneur. Tiffany recounts her stories and experiences to help victims of abuse. She has also founded S.H.A.R.E; an advocacy group for students and run by students who have experienced abuse. She is in the process of releasing her first book and autobiography, ‘The Throw Away Girl’, which is expected to release soon.
