On January 8, 2000, college students Danielle Keener and Dan Zapp were abducted at gunpoint by a man while walking near a marina in York, Pennsylvania. The assailant drove them to an isolated location, where he assaulted and shot both of them before pushing them into the Susquehanna River.Miraculously, they survived by playing dead in the water until rescued by a local duck hunter.
