Akamai researchers have observed active exploitation of CVE-2025-24016, a critical RCE vulnerability in Wazuh, by two Mirai-based botnets. The campaigns highlight how quickly attackers are adapting proof-of-concept exploits to spread malware, underscoring the urgency of patching vulnerable systems.
