A Tale of Two Cities Chapter 25 - An Opinion

In which we observe Mr Lorry's tender solicitude as he seeks the counsel of the thoughtful and reserved Doctor Manette concerning the delicate condition of a mutual friend, whose mind has suffered a grievous relapse after a long struggle. Together, they resolve upon a careful plan to aid in his recovery, culminating in a secret act of destruction carried out with solemn gravity by Mr Lorry and Miss Pross, as if expunging a haunting shadow from their lives.
