She is a nationally - internationally recognized industry leader known for her transformative work on textured hair and is the founder of Forever Curls Academy and Redken brand ambassador. Carrillo is passionate about advancing education in hair care, trending styles, and the curl movement. Her viral content has been featured in publications like INSIDER, and she has won the American Influence Award in both 2020 and 2023, as well as being nominated for Educator of the Year at the NAHA. Additionally, she is the first female to win two #OneShot awards in one night. Her creative projects have been featured in Allure Magazine, inTouch National, Daily Mail, Yahoo News, and Seventeen, with inspiration drawn from brands like Lacroix and Halo Top Ice Cream.
