A tech bar for older adults?

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. It’s a concept that’s catching on. At the Jenner’s Pond community for older adults in the Philadelphia suburbs…there’s a concierge running what they call a Tech Bar…to help keep residents up to speed on some of the latest technologies. The community is part of Simpson and CEO Carol McKinley was a guest on the What’s Next Living Longer Better Smarter podcast…“The tech bar idea was how to help get new technologies in front of our residents where they can kind of taste and try and attempt and get questions answered. What’s the ease of using it, but really having something that we can bring to the communities to do that.”Simpson is looking to expand the idea into other communities.
