A Thing Called Praise: Part One
from Fervent Church Hosted by Fervent Church
In this powerful message, we explore the transformative power of praise in our spiritual lives. Drawing from the story of Noah building an altar after the flood (Genesis 8:20) and the first mention of praise in the Bible (Genesis 29), we learn that altars were designed to designate praise. The key insight is that whatever we don't turn into praise, we turn into pride. This challenges us to examine our perspective and frequency - what we frequently see becomes our spiritual frequency. We're reminded that praise gives us a divine perspective, even in challenging times. The message encourages us to build spiritual altars in our daily lives, turning every situation into an opportunity for praise and allowing God to be enthroned in our circumstances.
